Cost of Bulldozing

At the October meeting of the Coromandel County Council a report was received that the cost of the bulldozing of the Hahei-Hot Watei' Beach road was estimated at £l2O. Cr. W. Hamilton stated that the only fence necessary would cost no more than £5O. On the motion of Cr. Winstone, seconded by Cr. A. J. Notman, it was decided to have the road bulldozed. Furey’s Bridge Wall A letter from the Returned Services Association asking to have repairs or work done to the retaining wall at Furey’s bridge was received by the October meeting of the Coromandel County Council. It was resolved to get the consulting engineer to prepare a plan for the proposal.
