Land Tax Due
The Commissioner of Taxes draws the attention of taxpayers to the notification appearing in today’s issue that the due date for payment of land tax for the current year is on Wednesday, November 12, 1947. Demands for individual taxpayers whose surnames commence with the letters A to L will be posted on or about November 5. In other cases where the issue of assessments has been delayed, demands will be posted later and an extended doe,.: date for payment will be shown on th e < demand.
