SPRING BLOOMS

ANGLICAN GUILD FLOWER SHOW RESULTS OF DISPLAY The thirteenth annual spring flower show held recently under the auspices of St. Paul’s Church of England (Paeroa) Ladies’ Guild was a great success. The entries in most sections exceeded those of past years and the blooms were of a high standard. There was a large attendance at the display and to enjoy the social afternoon. Two songs were sweetly rendered by Mrs N. Watson and the amusing recitations given by Rosemary Bridge were, much enjoyed. Afternoon tea was served by the ladies’ guild, members. The produce stall did good business. Miss E. Richard judged the flowers and made the following awards: — Cut Flowers Section Daffodils, 3 blooms, mixed varieties, Miss D. Vosper 1, Mrs J. L.
