THAMES HOSPITAL BOARD ONE MEMBER NOT STANDING . j All but three of the members of the Thames Hospital Board have announced that they are willing to stand as candidates for the board at the local body elections in November. Those who intend to stand are: Messrs J. W. Danby, the present chairman, Purnell, who represents 1 the Thames borough, C. W. Parfitt, J. W. Neate and A. H. -Sutton, who represent the Hauraki Plains county, E. J. McLoughlin, the Thames county representative, and S. Bonnici, and Mrs M. E. Williams, the Waihi borough representatives. Mr W. Hamilton, the Coromandel county representative has stated that he will not be standing at the elections. Mr W. C. Kennedy, a representative of the Ohinemuri county, stated last week that he was then undecided on the matter, and the other Ohinemuri county representative, Mr G. A, Avery, has been in ' ill-health recently and* it is possible that he will not be standing.
