JJAURAKI PLAINS DRAINAGE A R EA NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, June 16, 1947 NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Hauraki Plains Act, 1926, to make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance-costs for the period April 1, 1947, to March 31, 1948, as described in the Schedule hereto. The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on July 14, 1947. The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector or Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer’s Office, Room 15, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the ofcce of the Land Drainage. Engineer, at Kerepeehi, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.

SCHEDULE CLASS A: O n the unimproved value of all lands classified as Class Aby the appraiser appointed under the said Act, sevenpence and fifty-seven onehundredths of a penny (7.57 d in the pound.
