FAREWELL AFTERNOON
MRS J. R. KIDD HONOURED MRS W. STEWART ENTERTAINS Last Thursday afternoon Mrs W. A. C. Stewart, of Normanby road, Paeroa, entertained at her home a number of ladies, the guest of honour being Mrs J. R. Kidd, who is shortly leaving Paeroa. Competitions were held, the winners proving to be Mrs Edwin Edwards and Miss Vera Menzies. After a delicious afternoon tea had been served Mrs Stewart called on Mrs Kidd mentioning how sorry all present would be when she left Paeroa. Mrs Stewart wished her health and happiness in her new home and asked Mrs Kidd to accept two books as a parting gift. In reply Mrs Kidd thanked Mrs Stewart for the lovely afternoon and as well all those present for the gift. She extended a cordial invitation to all her friends to visit her when she ■became settled in her new home at Pivprtipnd Auckland.
