FINES FOR CYCLISTS TRAFFIC OFFENCES CASES HEARD IN PAEROA At a sitting of the Paeroa Magistrate’s Court in Paeroa on Monday, before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., the following traffic offences were dealt with:— Sam Devcich of Mangaiti was fined £2, costs 10®, for exceeding the speed limit of 25 miles per hour in a motor lorry. Traffic Inspector J, Pascoe stated that he had checked the speed of the vehicle on the Paeroa-Te Aroha main highway on June 212', at 40 miles per hour. 'Sonny ‘Wilkinson was fined 5s with costs 12s for having no light on his cycle. J. iS. Jamieson was fined 5s and costs 12s for having no light attached to his cycle.
