FULL DAY’S GOLF ' OUTINIG AT ROTOKIOHU 'A full day’s golf organised by the social committee of the Paeroa Golf Club was enjoyed by members at the week-end. The programme consisted of a nine hole medal round for both the ladies and the men in the morning and a mixed medal stableford in the afternoon, together with a putting and approaching competition. The weather was ideal and the course was in excellent condition resulting in good scores being recorded. The winners on the day Ladies, Miss G. iGibb, 38—4—34; men, H.. Thorp, 39—7—combined stableford, Mrs J. /Gordon and H. A. Morrison, 16—!2f0—136. Putting, M. Young; approaching, W. F. Johnstone. In presenting the prizes to the winners the president 1 , Mr J. H. Bartlett} expressed the hope that visitors and members had enjoyed the day, complimenting the organisers on having made an enjoyable and financial success of the fixture. LADIES’ GOLF MATCHES PLAYED SATURDAY Members of the Paeroa Ladies’ Golf Club played for Mrs Ripley’s trophy on Saturday, Mrs Carroll winning on the count back. The best scores were: Mrs A. J. Carroll 87—47—70; Mrs Nield 9'3M2<3—179; Mrs R. J. Shaw 86—<14—72; Miss Franks 10G—26—74. The C grade players played for Mrs 'Shaw’s trophy, Mrs- J. J. Craig winning on the count back. The best scores were: Mrs Craig 120 L -^36 —84; Mrs J. Gordon 12(1—SMS—184; Mrs G. Masters 101—86—85; Mrs B. Whisker
