FAREWELL DANCE

PAEROA YOUTH CLUB MISSES M. & N. WESTLAKE The Paeroa Youth Club held a farewell dance in honour of the Misses Margaret and Norma Westlake who have been keen supporters of the club since its beginning as the Junior Patriotic Committee. After a bountiful supper, the opMisses Westlakes with' tokens of siM'ses Westlake’s with tokens of esteem. The president, Mr B. Clune, on behalf of the Youth Club said how sorry he and the club members were to lose two energetic workers. The Misses Westlakes suitably replied and musical honours were accorded. The winners of the monte carlo were Mis's M. Westlake and Mr C. Mudiford, while Miss N. Westlake and Mr D. Andrews were the winners of the statue waltz.

The music was supplied by the Rlyithm Trio and the duties 1 of M.C. were in the capable hands of Mr P. Oram.

Among those present were: —Misses M. and N. Westlake, J. Stewart, M. Shaw, E. Finlay, E. Smith, M. Millar, N. Noble, P. Morgan, S. Silcock, M. Kidd, IL. Mhdford, J. Hill, M. (YNiell, J. iScanlan, J. Coldicutt. Miss' R. Smith.
