WORKING WELL
COUNTY COUNCIL PLANT OUTIP.UT FROM' THE QUARRIES The county engineer, Mr L. E. Shaw, reported in regard to plant to the May meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council as follows: — “All plant is working and is in satisfactory order. The spare V 8 engine which was sent to the experts for repairs has been returned in good condition. Crushing Plants “Both crushing plants are working and metal is being supplied to various roads. The Waihi plant was held up for several days on account of flood waters covering the plant. A start was made with the carting of maintenance metal to the roads in the Mangaiti area but soon after starting the metalling was discontinued owing to a further breakdown at the quarry company’s plant.”
