GIFT EVENING

FUNCTION HELD AT NGATEA VERY ENJOYABLE NIGHT There was a good gathering of friends at a gift evening in honour of Miss Esther Marchant and Mr Jim Hodgson, held in the Ngatea Hall on January 214. The evening was a very enjoyable one and music for the dancing was supplied by the Rhythm Ramblers of Kerepeehi. On behalf of those present. Mr Sherlock asked the couple to come forward 1 and receive the many beautiful and useful gifts, stating that the families were well’ known Plains residents, having lived in Ngatea for many years.
