OBITUARY

MRS E. ELLIOT OF OMAHU WORK IN YOUNGER DAYS General regret will be felt by the residents of the Thames- Valley and surrounding districts- at the death on Sunday of Mrs Cora Elliot, wife of Mr E. Elliot, of Bushy Park, Omahu, in her 6'Bth. year. Mrs Elliot has lived in the district all ijer life, and during her younger years was prominent in all church and philanthropic work and , a willing worker for patriotic funds. .She is survived by her husband,two daughters and two sons. The sons are Messrs Claude and Colin Elliot, and the daughters Mesdames Aitken. (Paeroa) and White (Auckland).

A service was held at the Presbyterian Church, Paeroa,. on Tuesday, th'e funeral leaving later for Omahu Cemetery.
