HOLIDAY REVELS
REVUE TO SHOW AT PAEROA FIXTURE FOR FRIDAY Starring Jack Riley and Sylvia Paynter, both seasoned artists in the revue world, Holiday Revels- is coming to the Regent Theatre, Paeroa, next Friday. Also among the large bill of topline artists is Don Le Bas, an Auckland boy soprano of exceptional range and brilliance. Don’s, voice has won' him honours all over New Zealand. In Holiday Revels -he is heard to advantage in several delightful numbers, one which he brings to an amazing climax on C above top C. He is also assisted by Kay Scott and the Melody Maids, a group of versatile girls who come from New Plymouth. The co-ordination between- this group of lovely girls is remarkable and up to overseas standard. The dressing and scenas- in Holiday Revue are most beautiful and .Paeroa audiences will doubtlessly receive-, them well. The show is fast and moves- racily to the final curtain.
