FALSE NAME GIVEN
LIQUOR NEAR DANCE HALL YOUNG MAN BEFORE COURT On charges of being in possession of liquor near the Ngatea Hall while a dance was in progress and with giving a false name and' address to the police, Keith Albert. Tynan of Manga - iti was fined £5 ;and £2 10s. respectively with costs £1 14s 7d by Mr W. iH. Freeman, S.M., in the Paeroa Court on Monday. Constable R. Beasley of Kerepeehi said that he had seen Tynan with other young men go to a sack of beer in 'Wharf stret, Ngatea. When questioned Tynan gave his name as Neale Fisher of Mill road,- Paeroa. Enquiries proved that there was no such person at this address. When traced Tynan admitted he had paid 6s towards the cost of the beer.
