In his address, Mr Yoeman took as his subject “A Man st Conception, of Christ.” He commenced by pointingout that life could be likened unto a game of football. On the field the men must work as a team, they must train they must have a coach. From this the Sipeaker pointed out, man must also train and equip himself well in order to meet the demands that life will make upon him. He must have a coach, and the best coach was Jesus Christ. The Mr Yoeman went on to paint a word picture of a man’s conception of Christ, not the Meek and Lowly Jesus” of our childhood ideas, but the strong Son of God' who could be respected and) reverenced 1 and loved by all men. He urged the men present to seek this. Christ who could meet their every needs and follow Him-.
Following the service the ladies of the church entertained the men to a social hour and supper in the refrectory of the Masonic Lodge.
