DAIRIES KEENLY SOUGHT STOCK SALE HELD TN PAEROA The New Zealand 1 Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report that at their fortnightly sale held at Paeroa on Monday all dairy cattle were ■keenly sought after and a complete clearance was made at very advanced rates. Beef were again penned in larger quantities and again this line was keenly sought after. Four choice Jersey heifers sold on behalf of Mr W. J. Noble, of Tirohia, realised £2l each. They quote:— Heifers, calved and close to profit, extra choice from £l5 to £2l, medium quality £ll to £l4 10s 1 , backward £8 10s to £10; cows, calved, and close to profit, extra choice from £ll to £l4 15s, medium quality £8 I‘o's to .£9 l'ss, backward £6 5s to £7 10s; beef, prime young cows and heifers from £9 5s to £l'0 1 10s, medium quality £8 to £8 15s, unfinished £6 to £7 15s; boners, heavy from £4 10 s to £5, medium £3 £ss to £4'ss, light £3 to £3 10 s; potter bulls, from £4 10s to £6 10 s; heifers, yearling, best quality from l £7 10 s to £8 os, others from £5 10s to £6 10s, two-year-old empty £6 10s to £7 ss. ■Wethers.—Prime from 35s to 40s. Hoggets.—Prime froip 30s to 355; stores, 23s to 275.
