ENJOYABLE EVENING
MARAMARUA FUNCTION LIBRARY COMMITTEE FUND'S The Maramarua Library- Committee held a very enjoyable evening in the Maramarua Hall on Friday, August 31. .Mr J. Blake very/ kindly brought along his cinematograph projector and* films and screened' an excellent programme of pictures. A dainty supper was served l by the library committee. Takings for the evening amounted to £lO 13s. Local musicians provided music and dancing was enjoyed until midnght. Among those present were:— Mesdamesi Downie, Pacey, M. Symes, J. Symes, Rudge, Neil, Hodder, Holloway, Hale, Baldwin, Finlayson, Peach, Maxwell, Woods, Feisst, Gillert, Kelly. Misses Maxwell, J. Freeborn, Harris, Fisher, -D. Freeborn, Kelly, F. Johnston, 'Crum, E. McWatt, M. McWatt, P. Crum.
