TUBMAN WINS

WAITEMATA CUP FINAL PAEROA 'GOLF CLUB A medal round was played by the Paeroa Golf Club on Saturday on the Rotokohu course in fine weather. There was a number of good scores recorded, the best being that of W. E. Tubman with 73 less 7—66 nett. This win for Tubman secured him five more points, making an aggregate of 13, which enabled him to win the Waitemata Cup competition. Next best point holders were J. H. Sarjant and H. Morrison 105-30-75, H. Morgan 87-8-79, R. Spencer 112-30-82, J. Gordon 97-14-83. A stableford' played over the weekend was won by. L. J. Shaw 37 .points, J. R. Kidd was next with 33. A medal round will be played nerft-i Saturday, being the final round for the captain’s prize.
