KEREPEEHI COMBINED GUILD

£33 FOR CHURCH WORK

The (president, 'Mrs H. Innes, presided over a well-attended, meeting of the Combined Methodist and Presbyterian Ladies’ iGuild held in Kerepeehi Hall on July 4. Among those present were Mesdames Fisher, (Strong, Bailey, Webster, Collins, McDonald, Speedy, Heddy, H. Innes and Kearns. An apology for unavoidable absence

was received from Mrs W. Shilton.

The annual report of activities and balance sheet, to 'be forwarded to 'the churches, was presented to the meeting and approved. The balance sheet showed that the guild has .been able to donate £3O to churches during the year and £3 to the local Sunday school.

Final arrangements, were made for the annual foring-and-lbuy which is to be held during July which promises to be successful.

The resignation of Mrs. Kearns from the position as secretary and treasurer was declined.

The meeting closed with the serving of an enjoyable afternoon tea, Mrs Bailey and Mrs Strong being the hostesses'.
