REHABILITATION
FIRST FURLOUGH DRAFT QUESTION IN THE HOUSE “Will the Acting-Prime Minister consider granting, at an early date, full rehabilitation rights to men of the first furlough draft?” This was an urgent question asked in the House of Representatives' by Mr A. iS. Sutherland '(National —Hauraki) in conjunction with Mr G. F. iSim (National' — Rotorua). They pointed) out that the Dominion Executive of the Returned Services Association had recently decided' that members of the draft were now eligible for full membership rights of the association. ■Replying, the Hon. W. Nash said that the law with regard to the “furlough men” was set out clearly in the Gazette, and he could not determine what the Government would do. Mr Nash said he had noticed that the RjS.A. had decided to admit the “furlough draft” to membership. “The question as to what other rights the furlough draft men may have will be under consideration as soon as it is' expedient for that to be done,” said Mr Nash.
