CHRISTMAS PARTY

FUNCTION ON DOMAIN PAEROA EVENING SPORTS PROGRAMME WEDNESDAY On Wednesday next at 5.30 p.nu the Paeroa Amateur Athletic and Cyling Club will close this year’s activities with a gala night -at the Paeroa Domain. The committee have spared no effort in an endeavour to make this night one to be remembered ■by the young children who- attend the weekly sports. A feature which is sure to meet with the approval of the- children will be the appearance of Father Christmas during the evening. Sweets and prizes •will be given to the children during the sports. All mothers are invited to bring along their children and let them have a grand time with Father Christmas. If your child does not run come along just the same as every boy and girl will be welcome.

The athletic sports- will differ somewhat from the usual weekly meetings as the programme will include a number of novelty events. „

The main attraction on the programme will be the committeeman s 100 yards' dash in which such wellknown personalities as Charles Webb, Cam Millar, Wilf Parker and Frank Craig will be taking part. :Do not miss this evening which promises l to be the meeting of the year. • The following are the handicaps for
