L.A.C. R. Collins has returned' to camp after spending the week-end in Kerepeehi with his parents, Mr and Mrs H. Collins.
Mr Marshall of Auckland spent the week-end in Kerepeehi. Mr J. M. Craig has been nominated to represent the Paeroa Returned Services Association on the Paeroa Advisory Rehabilitation Committee. Mr Edgai' Harris has been nominated' to represent the Returned Services Association on the Hauraki Plains Rehabilitation Committee.
At the last meeting of the PaeroaHauraki Returned Services Association Mr J. H. Walmsley was nominated to represent the association on the Paeroa Rehabilitation Committee for a further 12 imonths.
Mr P. E. Brenan, chairman of the Thames Hospital Board, who is now ill in the Thames Hospital, was not able to attend the meeting of the board on Tuesday, but, through the deputy-chairman, Mr J. W. Danby, conveyed seasonal greetings to members. These were reciprocated' by the members. Leave of absence was granted the chairman. Dr. M. H. Watt, Director-General of Health, visited Thames on Tuesday morning and conferred with representatives of the Thames Hospital Board'. Mr J. W. Danby later told members of the board that Dr. Watt was very pleased generally with the state of the hospital and the improvements the board had made.
