FARMERS BUSY
HAYMAKING AT THE BAY PASTURES FRESHENED 1 UP Haymaking and the making of ensilage are in full swing on farms in the Mercury Bay district. The heavy showers late have not caused much delay or damage to the crop and numerous haystacks have been completed. The dairy pastures have freshened up, after the rain as. in some places the grass was showing signs, of drying up and the cream supply was slightly affected.
