HARDY ANNUAL

STATE OF MILL CREEK ROAD

PROTEST BY CR. WATKINS

At the November- meeting of the Coromandel County Council Cr. A. Watkins brought up the question of giving relief to settlers on Mill Creek road.

“ It’s- a hardy annual and the worst road 1 in the county. In fact I’d go so far as to say it’s the worst road in New Zealand. Really, it’s not a road any longer—it’s a river,” stated Cr. Watkins. The matter was left in the hand's of the foreman, Mr Beech, to attend to.
