MEETING OF COMMITTEE

FORMATION OF LADIES’ TEAM

A meeting of the Paeroa Cricket Club was held in the Domain Pavilion on Thursday, Mr W. F. F. Faber presiding. Others present were Messrs T. Henderson, L. Gloyn, J. Fowler and the secretary, Mr M. Lally. Apologies were received from Messrs J. Verran, G. Pope and Smith.

Arrangements were made for a team to travel to Thames on Saturday next, the team to be announced at a later date. -

The matter of forming a ladies’ cricket team in Paeroa was discussed at length. Mr 'Faber moved that as the Paeroa Cricket Club was desirous of fostering cricket in Paeroa a ladies’ team be formed and requested that any interested should contact the secretary.
