MEETING AT MANGATARATA
LETTER FROM WAR 'PRISONER
There was the usual good attendance of members at the November meeting of the Mangatarata branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union which was held in the Mangatarata school. Mrs W. Cropp, president, was in the chair. Following the singing of the song and reading of the creed business was dealt with.
The secretary, Mrs B. Main read a letter from the prisoner of war who was adopted by the branch some time ago and to whom parcels had been sent.
