Mr H. Wheeler of Paeroa, is a guest at the Whitianga Hotel. Pte. R, Sewell is on furlough andstaying with his parents at Whitianga.
Advice has been received by ’Mrs M. Bush, of Tairua, that 'her son iGnr. A. J. Bush, serving with- the 2nd. N. in Italy is in hospital, but is now making a satisfactory recovery. At the October meeting of the Coromandel County Council Mr Andrew Murray, consulting engineer, was engaged to prepare plans and proposals to enable the council to uplift the two Public Works grants at Pt. Jackson.
