NGATEA DISTRICT HIGH AN ENJOYABLE EVENING . A .Ngatea District High School social was held in the Ngatea Public Hall on the evening of Wednesday, May 3. Most of the pu'pils were able to be present, besides the teachers and many parents. Recorded music was provided over a loud speaker, and Don Garner played the pianoforte extra. Winners of the Monte Carlo waltz competitions were Nola McAulay with M. Morrow and Florence Hutchinson with R. Jordan. Mr C. J. McCarthy was M.C. Among those present were:— Mesdames B. J. Green, E.
