INTEREST OF RATEPAYERS ELECTIONS NECESSARY HAURAKI UNITED AREA As the number of candidates for the Central South Subdivision Off the Hauraki United Drainage Board exceeds the vacancies l to be filled- an election will be necessary on .Saturday, May 27. No election is necessary in the Northern,' Central North and Southern Subdivisions. The following are the candidates nominated, an asterisk denoting the sitting member:— Elected Unopposed . ELECTION NECESSARY ROTOKOHU BOARD As there have been seven candidates nominated for the five seats on the Tirohia-Rotbkphu Drainage Board: an election will be necessary. The candidates, with sitting members denoted by an asterisk, are:— Frederick Lewis;, *Henry Richard Thorp, Abraham Frank Johansen, Steve Slavieh, * Vivian Young, *Herber John Day, *Karl Rudolph Rasmussen. NO ELECTION NETHERTON DRAINAGE BOARD As the number of candidates nominated for the Nether ton Drainage Board equal the number of seats l vacant there will be no election. The new board will be as under: — Northern Subdivision.—George Edward Sarjant. Awaiti Subdivision. — Frederick Thomas Victor Johnson and Lionel Charles Sanderson. “H” Drain Subdivision.—'William Harold Cheale and Reginald James Wilson.
