MEETING IN COROMANDEL
OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED
The Coromandel Sub-Committee of the Plunket Society, held: its annual meeting on 'Monday, April 24, Mrs Ward presiding over a fair attendance.
The annual report and the nurse’s report were read. The balance sheet was read, discussed and adopted. A vote of thanks was l passed to the county council for. use of the rest room, also to Miss Mitchell foi* auditing the hooks. The election of officers' resulted as follows:—President, Mrs S. Ward; Secretary, Mrs A. G. McNeil; treasurer, Mrs D. Inglis.; vice-presidents, Mrs L. R. Eide, Mrs Macdonald, Mrs McKenzie and Miss Maxwell; committee, Mesdames Gilliver, Patterson, McKinley, Kelleher, .Surman, King and 'Dr. Logan. An amusing, competition was won by Mrs Ward. A dainty afternoon tea was then served 'by the retiring committee.* ;
