COROMANDEL BRANCH MEETS OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Coromandel branch of the National Party was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Wednesday, March 22. The appointment of Mr Pringle as secretary of the branch was confirmed. Owing to inclement weather the attendance was rather small, and it was decided to hold a meeting early in May, when a better attendance could be anticipated. Mr S. Horne was re-elected president of the branch and the old committee was also re-elected with power to add. Discussions of interest in regard to various matters took place after which the meeting closed.
