SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs Pacey, of Canal road, Waitakaruru, recently spent a holiday with her mother, Mrs Jenkins of St. Helier’s, Auckland. Mrs Ganley, of “Raupo,” Boon road, Waitakaruru, has as her guests Mr and Mrs McGregor of Auckland and Mrs Ganley Snr., of Ellerslie. Visitors to Waitakaruru are Mr and Mrs Lex Mackintosh, of Wellington, who have been staying with Mrs Pacey of Canal road. Miss Moya McKenney has returned |to Waitakaruru after spending the , week-end with Mrs Meredith, Onehunga. Mrs Claude Hinton has now returned home to Waitakaruru after a few days spent in Auckland where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs Barry, “Casa Loma” Elate, Epsom. Mrs Roy Spence is spending a short holiday with Mrs Wallace, Pipiroa roa, Waitakaruru. Mrs R. L. Darley, Wood street, Pae- | roa, has returned, after a holiday | spent in Auckland and Whangarei. Mrs H. Gavin, Kerepeehi, is spending a few days in Hamilton. Miss S. Hayes, Te Awamutu, is spending a holiday with her parents, Mrs and Mr A. Hayes, Kerepeehi. I Mrs R. Foster of Tirohia and Mrs A. North of Timaru, are spending a holiday at Waihi Beach. 1 Miss Desma Short of Ngatea, is staying with her brather at Waihi Beach. Mrs W. F. North and Mrs E. Darby, were visitors to Waihi Beach at the week-end. Mrs Skinner, of Auckland, is visiting her mother, Mrs D. Healey, of Hikutaia.
