WORTH WATCHING

SHEEP DOG TRIALS ATTRACTION AT THE SHOW GOOD ENTRY OF HORSES Half-an-hour of tense interest in watching well-trained dogs at work will be one of the attractions at the 45th. annual show to be held on the Paeroa Domain on Saturday, November 13, by the Hauraki and Pastoral Association. Arrangements have been made for one of the leading Waikato ijheep dog trial competitors to attend the show with his dogs and give a special exhibition of their work. Don’t miss it; you will enjoy every moment. President B. E. Veale in conversation with a Gazette representative stated that he was sure this year’s Paeroa Show would prove very popular with the public as an excellent number of horses would be competing in the riding and jumping events thereby proving an interesting day’s sport. “We were very lucky indeed to be able to engage a merry-go-round for the show and Secretary Edwards went to some trouble to get it, knowing how popular it is with the kiddies,” said Mr Veale.
