OBITUARY

MRS ELLEN DENTON LONG IN PAEROA The death has occurred at Drury at the age of 69 years, of Mrs Ellen Denton, of Corbett street, Paeroa. Mrs Denton spent practically all her life in Paeroa and the surrounding districts, being a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Coulson who were very

early settlers of Paeroa. She was the wife of the late Mr W. Denton who operated as a contractor in the Thames Valley. Mrs Denton is survived by four daughters, Mesdames F. / Digweed (Drury), B. Hughes (Mt. Roskill), H. Burke (Mt. Roskill), L. Gloyn '(Paeroa), and six sons, Messrs William (Putaruru), Fred (overseas), Albert (overseas), Jim (Waitoa), George (Paeroa), and Jack (overseas).
