ANNUAL MEETING HELD OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Mercury follows:—President, Mr F. Brophy rewas held on June 11. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Hr F. Brophy reelected; vice-president, Mr R. A. Simpson , re-elected; secretary, Mr G. Pooley, re-elected; committee, Mr W. Oxley, Mr P. Turley, Mr H. Gordon. After the meeting closed the president welcomed all visitors and fathers of boys serving overseas to their smoke concert. The usual toasts were honoured. Special thanks were extended to members' of the Women’s Institute for providing so freely.
