Cycle Trip to Coromandel
Three enterprising young' people, Patricia and Hilary Wells, and Ted. Bowers, 'found a good way to add variety to a trip to Auckland from Mercury Bay, by cycling to Coromandel, they journeyed to the Queen City aboard the Maritana. Art Union Results
One £5 prize went to E.V., Coromandel, in the Lucky-Not Rich Art Union, which was drawn recently. The ticket number was 24587. Council Meeting
The June meeting of the Coromandel County Council was held in Coromandel on Wednesday, June 9, the chairman, Mr C. C. Rae presiding. Others present were Crs. A. Watkins J. G. Strongman, H. C. Bull, E. M. Minifie, C .S. A. Geard, T. E. Simpson and J. E. Jackson, also the engineer, Mr A. H. Benham and the county clerk, Mr J. H. Lucas.
County Accounts Accounts totalling £647 6s 5d were passed for payment at the June meeting of the Coromandel County Council.
