CRAWFORD-WATSON CUP THAMES WIN BY 10 RUNS HOWARD CARRIES HIS BAT Hauraki Plains 'were defeated by only 10' runs in their cricket match against Thames, for the CrawfordWatson Cup on Saturday last. Plains went in to bat firsl on a fair wicket, though the outfield was a bit grassy owing to recent rain. A good friendly spirit prevailed throughout the game which was played at Thames, in fine weather.
