QUOTA SENT FROM PAEROA .

CONTENTS OF EACH PACKAGE

That 120 gift parcels for the Armed Fotces had been despatched to Wellington during March was reported by the secretary, Mr R. L. Darley, to Monday night’s meeting of the Paeroa Patriotic Committee.

The report read as under: — “During the month the quota of 120 gift parcels were • dispatched to Wellington. These contained 1 cake, 1 tin fruit, 1 -tin milk, 1 tin lamb and green peas, cake soap, 1 handkerchief, 1 tin coffee and milk or jam, 1 tin barley sugar and chewing gum. We are indebted to Mr T. Pye and his staff for the packing of the parcels.”
