WHAT IS THE RECORD TO-DAY?

An elderly father who appeared before the Armed Forces Appeal Board in Matamata on behalf of his son’s sharemilkers stated that he himself was unable to help much. His son would not appeal and had gone to camp. The sharemilker and his wife milked 155 cows (non-stripping), and the wife had two young children to look after. They had not been able to get assistance or even a housekeeper. A member: What size plant? “A six-cow plant.” “And 155 cows?” “Yes.”
