GARDEN PARTY
FUNCTION ON SATURDAY FUNDS FOR PAEROA SCHOOL An interesting afternoon will be provided for the public on Saturday when folk dances, physical training displays, playettes and items by the Paeroa Municipal Band will be given at the garden party to be held in the High School grounds, Te Aroha road. The function which has been organised by the Paeroa District High School Committee, the Paeroa Parents’ Association, together with the staff and pupils of the High School is to raise the remainder of the money '■required so that a picture projector can be purchased for the school. An ice cream stall at which, soft drinks will also be sold, a general produce stall with competitions, etc., will all add to the fun of the afternoon and as the function is being held to secure really desirable equipment for the education of the children of Paeroa it is hoped that the public will support the fixture enthusiastically.
Afternoon tea will be provided free during a suitable interval in the programme.
Donations of produce, cakes, vegetables, meat, etc., are solicited for sale at the stalls.
Enjoy yourself on Saturday at the School Garden Party and at the same time help in the purchase of equipment which will be of great benefit in ■the education of the children of Pae< roa.
