PAEROA MUNICIPAL LIBRARY
PAPER STOLEN REPEATEDLY That the number of subscribers enrolled with the Paeroa Municipal Library was now 702 adults and 187 children was reported by the librarian to Thursday’s meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council. The report read as under: —
“This quarter there have been 55 new books entered, and of these one was donated. January’s new books were entered on December 21. “On December 11 two hampers of books arrived from the Country Library Service, 45 fiction and 90 nonfiction. On December 15 the van was here and there were 95 fiction and 45 non-fiction changed.
“As the Sphere is continually stolen out of the reading room I now keep it in the library on the reading table.”
