UNEQUAL SHARE OF THE LOAD

A further protest against increas-' ing hospital taxation was voiced at last week’s meeting of the Te Aroha Borough Council when it was decide ed to forward a remit on the subject to the Municipal Association. The remit emphasised that the council viewed with great concern the increased burden of hospital taxation- and requested greater Government assistance through the Social Security Department in order to relieve the burden of those who at present carried an unequal share of the load.
