SGT.-PILOT S. T. SMITH TURUA BOY’S SUCCESS Mrs F. E. Smith, of Turua, has received a cable from Canada stating that her son, Sergeant-Pilot <S. T. Smith, has received his wings and has now been posted to England. Sergeant-i Pilot Smith was educated at Turua and attended' the Ngatea High School, and before joining the Air Force, worked in the Turua Post Office. He received his early training at Levin and then went to Canada.
