The Netherton Hall Society and Netherton School Committee have promised to deal with the blackberry on their areas,” reported the Noxious Weeds Inspector, Mr W. ‘W. Williams to Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki 'Plains County Council. Stock Impounded

“I impounded one cow at Ngatea and 40 cows and two bulls at Waitakaruru. The two cows previously impounded were sold, realising £5 2s 6d and £5,” reported the ranger, Mr W. W. Williams, to Wednesday’s meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. “Four cases of straying stock were dealt with by a caution,” added the report.
