FOR THE CHILDREN
FULL PROGRAMME OF SHORTS
SPECIAL MATINEE SATURDAY
Acting upon the suggestion of a Paeroa resident the management of the Regent Theatre, in an endeavour to provide suitable pictures for children’s matinees, proposes to screen a full programme of shorts on Saturday morning next, October 3, commencing at 10.30 a.m. The programme will include “His Ex Marks The Spot,” comedy; “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” Cinescope; “Sport Of Kings,” Sports Thrill; “Paunch’n Judy,” Krazy Kat; “Schoolboy Dream,” Scrappy; “Peep In The !Deejp,” Krazy Kat; “Cookoo Cavalier,” Comedy; “Man Of Tin,” Scrappy; “Skiing Technique,” Sports Thrill- “Little Lost ‘Sheep,” KraZy Kat. To show their appreciation of the attitude of the manager, parents are urged to support this programme, it being considered that such films are more suitable than the average fulllength picture of to-day. To organise such programmes for the children incurs extra cost with more work foi- the manager and his staff but the benefit of having suitazle films for the children should be fully appreciated by the citizens of the town.
Support this new idea to ensure that it continues. Your children will enjoy the programme more than many of the full-length programme and the films are more suitable.—P.B.A.
