THE PAEROA CEMETERY
(To the Editor.) Sir, —On travelling per bus past the iPaeroa cemetery the other day it . was a painful sight for the passengers to witness the sexton digging a grave right alongside the road. In my mind “God’s Acre” is- a sanctuary on a parallel with a church and should * be treated as such. The planting of .. > a row of lawsonianas along the front of the hill would certainly help to preserve the sacredness of the cemetery.—l am, etc.,TRAVELLEB.
