Public Notice HAURAKI PLAINS W EST DRAINAGE gOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY GENERAL RATE Pursuant to Section 31 of “The Land Drainage Act 1908,” and its amendments, and to subSection 1 of Section 2 of “The Land Drainage Amendment Act 1913” and to Section 13 of “The Land Drainage Amendment Act 1922,” and' to Section 54 of “The Rating Act, 1925,” Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board at a meeting thereof to be held at its- Office at Ngatea on Wednesday the 14th October, 1942, at the hour of 5 p.m. to make the following rates for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1942 and ending on the 31st. March, 1943. In the Ngatea-Pipiroa subdivision a general rate of three pence (3d), in the £on the unimproved value of all rateable property classed “A.” In the Puhanga Island subdivision a general rate of three pence three farthings (3id) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property classed “A.” In the Waitakaruru subdivision a general rate of three pence (3d), in the £ on all rateable property classed “A” a general rate of two pence- (2d) in the £ on all rateable property classed “B” and a general rate of one penny (Id) in the £ on all rateable property classed “C”. The said sum will be due and payable in one sum on the 30th day of October, 1942, to the undersigned at the Office of the Board at Ngatea. The Valuation Roll is open for inspection during Office hours at the Office of the Board at Ngatea.
