TO BE PATCHED
SHEETS AT THE HOSPITAL THAMES BOARD DECISION “There may be nothing for it but to patch what sheets we have, even though that is not considered the thing to do in a hospital,” remarked the Thames Hospital Board secretary, Mr A. L. Neighbour, at Tuesday afternoon’s meeting. “I have been trying desperately hard to procure sheeting but so far without success.” “You won’t be too popular with the nursing staff,” the chaiman said, but Mr Neighbour did not worry. “I don’t think I’m too popular there now!” he told the chairman.
