£l5OO FROM ANZAC DINNER WRITING PAPER FOR FORCES “New Zealanders and members of the New Zealand Forces in particular have reason to be grateful for the continued intereslt and. practical assistance given by that public-spirited band of Australian and New Zealand _ residents in America who formed the Anzac War Relief Fund,” states an article in the monthly Bulletin of the National Patriotic Fund Board. The article continues. — “The organisation, which as a result of a recent merger, is now the Anzac Division Committee of the British War Relief Society, advised the National Patriotic Fund Board last month that the Anzac Day dinner held in New York produced 5000 dollars (about £l5OO New Zealand) for the benefit of this country’s fighting forces. “The standing committee of the 'board has decided to use the money for the purchase of writing paper for the forces, the paper to be bought in America and sent to the 'Dominion for distribution by the- board.’’
