HOME DESTROYED
FIRE AT PATETONGA WEDDING PRESENTS LOST On 'Sunday night, about midnight, the home of Corporal iS. J. Phillips, R.N.Z.A.F., and Mrs Phillip's, of Patetonga, was totally destroyed by fire. All of the wedding presents of Mrs T. Anneal’ (nee Phillips}, whose marriage took place recently, were lost besides a home that had been the pride of the owners.
It is understood the house and furnishings were covered by insurance but the loss nevertheless is exceedingly heavy.
